Love for the Unapologetic
quite uncharacteristic.
Most of the world is in a politically correct saga worse than senility (thus, a form of it). From state bureaucrats to your bank manager, nobody is candidly saying what they think. We allow ourselves to be too apologetic but not the opposite. It's almost like the world wants us to be a part of the mediocre mean rather than the exciting extreme. Being apologetic is not being right or wrong. It can be vociferously telling someone, "Fucking idiot do you think you are capable of intimidating me?”
For good, I have started to worship this ferociousness. People who don’t give a fuck are admirable. This includes the homeless guy on the road (on fentanyl) showing you a middle finger to eccentric billionaires (on an ayahuasca retreat) saying “go fuck yourself." Fuck you money, broadly, the fuck you attitude is a way of protecting one’s sanity. These people protect their freedom so dearly that they don't want anyone to jump over the fence into their freeland. Nothing is consequential enough to take a jab at their freedom and sanity. They know cancel culture is temporary. But, fearing it is a chronic stressor (unlike seeing a snake on your desk). It signals rare independence. They value their happiness over fragile, external approval. Not saying enough (t)ruths has landed us in the biggest problems. I am sure we can give the alternative a chance at the very least.
Some may think it’s arrogant and the antithesis of humility, but that is missing the point. Telling someone what you think is what drives internal peace and security. One of the happiest people I know - he doesn't hold back. He will express how he feels in good and (often) blunt words going on about his day. He is not living in the guilt-ridden, pansy world of social ideals. He is secure enough on his own. Of course, you don't have to be right all the time to express what you think. You can't be, but at least you would have let the load off your chest.
At the end of the day, what's the point of working so hard and still imitating others—monkeys are capable of such imitation. What's the point? You can't protect your sanity. You're living in the shadow of small mice squeaking together until you get trapped.

"People who don’t give a fuck are admirable".
I think there is a fine line between giving a fuck and giving a fuck for your values.
Someone defending their values while choosing to be authentic is different than giving the middle finger while being high on horse tranquilizer.
Do you think separating these two people comes intuitively? Do you appreciate both all the same.
